About the build
Built for one journey
This VW Crafter II L3H2 was built entirely from scratch, with an uncompromising focus on quality and durability. We replaced wood with lightweight aluminium furniture, topped by moisture-resistant HPL counters and fronts — a structure made to withstand daily use without fearing humidity or the passage of time.
At the heart of the sleeping area lies a distinctive 140×200 cm bed with a side-expansion design that makes the most of the vehicle’s full width. Rotating front seats with Isofix create a flexible living space that works just as well for travelling with children.
Energy independence comes from a LiFePO4 100Ah battery managed by Victron electronics, paired with advanced power-management automation. Heating and hot water are handled by a Truma Combi 4, while extended autonomy is ensured by a 100 L fresh-water tank and an 80 L grey-water tank.
A fully equipped kitchen with a two-burner gas cooker, a 65 L refrigerator and a practical worktop lets you cook on the road as you would at home. Outside, a Thule Omnistor awning and an external shower round off the camping comfort in any conditions.
